Thank you for reaching out, sorry to hear you're having issues.
Could you please share more details as to the specific issues you're facing?
Is the game not launching or are you receiving any error codes when attempting to join / play?
- Ubisoft Support
The game does launch, but if you wanna invite friends for a private game you get the invite is expired all the time. we tried to restart serveral times, didn't solve the issue.
Thanks for getting back to us Katze-San ♥, sorry to hear that.
So just to clarify - does the invite arrive in Steam as already expired? Or are you able to accept the invite, but once loaded into the game is pops an error that you couldn't join?
And have you yet tried verifying the game's files[ubi.li]
/ reinstalling the game or disabling / re-enabling the Steam overlay?
- Ubisoft Support
No it seems like an error in game. Invites through stream aren't possible (just for watching). If you've the Ubisoft friends- / Chatinterface open and you try invite a player you get an instant response in chat that the invite has been expired.
I will test this now on my version too.
Can you please check you and your friends games are fully updated to build/update > 9377745 as there was a recent update to the game that corrected some players to not be able to get online.
If you right-click on the game's tile > select Properties > select Update > what build ID number does it show you?
Can you also let us know, are you sending the invites via the Steam overlay or the Connect overlay to your friends who are online?
-Ubisoft Support
The problem occurred like 2 weeks ago when we noticed first. I dunno there was an update while that time.
we sent the invited tthrough connect who friends are online (if not bugged as well but this was already known as I know) because invites through stream are not possible since you can invite friends just for watching :)
So I tested this in my game and it seems that invites to friends might not be working as intended.
in order for me to invite my friend to the game, I first had to select 'Online Play' from the menu > classic match > create match > select deck theme > select match type > enter lobby > then press the 'Unlock Lobby' button - which would usually unlock the lobby for other players not in your friend's list.
Once I unlocked the lobby, my friend was able to receive the game invite via the Connet overlay as they popped up on their screen.
Could you please try using the unlock lobby button, then try sending the invite again, if you are the game host?
Here is an image of that menu screen and button within the lobby >>
