how do I play this on the computer? after downloading it and pressing any key to start I cant get into setting or change it to be able to play on the keyboard. HELP?

you can only use it by having a controller and i'm not planning to buy one just to change the setting

The game should be fully compatible with mouse + keyboard and doesn't require a controller.

Do you have a controller or any other USB peripherals plugged into your PC when playing?

And have you tried verifying the game's files[ubi.li] too?
