Cannot host multiplayer game
Dear fellow UNO players.

Formerly, I have had no issues hosting multiplayer games. I had forwarded the ports for UNO and Steam in my router, which was enough. I checked Windows Firewall and there were also all UDP and TCP ports allowed in inbound direction.

Now, I've tried adding inbound and outbound rules for Ubisoft Connect, outbound rules for UNO in Windows Firewall. No change.

My router is an ASUS RT-AX86U, set to "Fullcone" NAT, which ASUS recommends over Symmetric NAT.

Spent over an hour yesterday and simply couldn't get it to work. What puzzles me is that it USED to work, but now it doesn't and I have changed absolutely nothing before it stopped working, except updating UNO as updates have come out on Steam.

Anybody? Thanks in advance!

Hello DarthLazze, thanks for getting in touch and sorry to hear you are unable to host games.

Sometimes after a game update, your Windows Defender/Firewall may no longer recognize the games .exe file and mark it as a threat, or restrict your access online.

Can you please check your Windows Firewall settings and any anti-virus software you have installed, to make sure it gives the game full rights to launch and connect online?

You may also sometimes need to click the 'Unlock Lobby' button before inviting friends to the game if you are hosting the game, as shown in this image > https://imgur.com/a/Iy7jeE5

Could you please try checking you have unlocked the lobby, before inviting your friends through the game's menu?
