UNO Online Game Lobby Bugs Out Mic

I from time to time love streaming UNO as a community night event, never had this issue before but on last nights stream any time I started a lobby (even before inviting friends to join) my mic gain levels would rise to 100 as if by themselves (usually set to 55) creating distortion and an overwhelmingly unpleasant viewing experience for chat.

I would exit our change my gain back to appropriate levels, start the game back up (chat confirming mic sounded fine, then as soon as I started the lobby BOOM, distortion, KekW's in the chat and all sorts of D:'s flying about. Check levels in control panel, sure enough gain back to 100. I made sure in game voice was disabled (it was and has always been disabled) but still the issue persisted to the point I ended up changing to another game (no issues with my mic from thereafter).

Was there a recent update that did some weird things with mic inputs? Kinda sucks but we won't be streaming UNO again any time soon.
