Tip to increase animation smoothness

Hello,
I was playing some 1917-The alien invasion DX and noticed a bit of choppiness in animations and background scrolling.
After doing some tests with my monitor found that if you set the refresh rate of the monitor to 50hz (I did it with Nvidia control pannel) the movement of the ship and scroll is totally smooth.
