Turn limit?
I just bought the game, its my first crack at the total war series but when I started a campain I noticed a turn limit, I know that 250 turns might be alot of game time but I hate time limits of any kind in games. Does this effect your enjoyment of the game or better yet can you switch it off?

The time limit is when you need your faction objectives by, but you can just countinue playing past it like it dosen't exist. Technology will never advance past a certain level and there will be no events, but you can play a campaign for pretty much however long you want.

You can go into the files and eliminate it completely I did that for Empire, it became a blast!

Dont worry about it. If you hit 250 turns and you aren't bored with that campaign yet, then worry about it

As for how to eliminate the time limit or just make it HUGE you can change the starting date. Go to C:Program Files (x86)/steam/steammaps/common/Medieval II total war/data/world/maps/campaign/imperial_campaign and there's text file descr_strat and there you can change the start conditions
