Europa Barbarorum 2 v2.35 install

Hey y'all! So I want to play Europa Barbarorum II, however, the installer version from moddb doesn't work for me, and the non-installer version has no instructions, and many folders with titles that do not match what Medieval 2 has. Can someone please take the time of day and post instructions in this thread so that I could play the mod? <3

The installer should be simple to use, what's the issue?
