Third Age Total War - "Windows cannot find 'kingdoms.exe" error
Hi there, we have tried installing, part 1, 2, and patch 3.2, but we keep getting an error that says "windows cannot find 'kingdoms.exe' error. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thank you!

Copy and rename the medieval2.exe file to kingdoms.exe, then put it back in the same directory as medieval2.exe is.

Could be it just doesn't see the directory. Which is why I strongly suggest you use an offline version for the mod.

Or you can open the medieval2.exe in notepad and rename it to kingdoms.exe.

I just rename the expansion folders to things like British_Isles1 and use the British_Isles folder name for my mods, it means you can launch from steam no problem and it does not give the error of having no Kingdoms.exe.
It also means if you want to play the normal campaigns, you just have to renumber your mod folder.

Copy and paste the same medievalII.exe into the same folder. It should come up as something like "medievalII(1).exe" rename the (1) executable to "kingdoms.exe"

As simple as this solution is, it worked fine for me.

You should really learn how to form proper sentences to explain wtf it is that you mean.
