Auto-manage?
Should I auto-manage my settlements or not?

I prefer to manage mine. Auto-manage for too long and I end up getting PO problems, money vanishing, buildings that create traits I don't want end up getting built with one of my best generals in it...

When my Kingdom grows vast, and money is not a HUGE concern, I let my settlements auto-tax, it does it fairly well. Don't let the computer auto-build thou..

If you don't feel like doing the city managment and just want to focus on the fighting then keep automanage on, but if not then just keep it off
