Fake Odds For Assassins???
My assassins has a 73% chance of succeeding against the heretic. He fails. So does the next one with the same odds.

Interesting; the odds of two failures in a row at 73% chance of success are around 7%. I reload the save I made just prior to the attempts. I reload 4 times. It's the same result each and every time. Both agents fail. The odds of this happening are microscopically low. The odds tables are obviously fixed.

I wonder why?

It's usually obvious when you see a character with a higher skill rating than the Assassin at an easy, % it's a honeytrap.
Seems pretty balanced in that regard to me.

I know how to change the dice roll on a reload. Save-scumming doesn't work unless you perform an action with another unit first.

And yeah, the stated percentage of success can generally be divided by 2 it seems.

What's the point in cheating? Makes the game pointless. The only person you cheat is yourself.

The computer AI is obviously cheating. A little payback is sometimes in order.

LOL! I don't think it's a cheat, I think it's a deliberate intention to catch out unwary players and it's good that the chances aren't always clear cut. If it's too good to be true, it usually is.
