M2TW Stainless Steel 6.4 Unable to locate Kingdoms.exe
So recently i got M2TW and i wanted to spice it up with some mods. So i go download SS 6.4 and 6.3 and I have 6.4 instaled and i go to launch the game and it says "Unable to locate Kingdoms.exe". Anyone who knows how to fix it? Please if you do let me know.

Follow the install instructions here:

You should be running SS off one of the kingdoms mod folders (assuming you have the kingdoms expansion) using the Steam game starter. The desktop shortcut for SS doesn't work.

When you move the game to the mod folder, re-run the game set up sequence at this new location before playing the game to avoid glitching.

If you have any system problems, look at the link in MTWGG under 'Modding and Game mechanics' subforum.

Simple Solution, once you install it normally, copy the medieval 2 exe file, rename the copy to kingdoms, and launch stainless steel as normal.

Yup, copy & renaming the executable is the winner (nothing else required). Then use the regular desktop short cut. As described here:

A more detailed description of the copy\rename procedure plus an automated instller for it can be found here:
