How can you get the 1.2 patch through Steam?
I've been having some issue with this, and I am not sure if I'm just not doing something right, or there is no possible way, outside of buying the game from a different source

You can't Steam is patched through to the latest version which is 1.5.2

You would have to have a retail disc version of 1.0 to upgrade to 1.2 as you can't go back from a higher version.

Though a disc version of medieval is recomended as 1.5 doesn't have any of the bugs introduced in the multiplayer update.

Won't work on steam, do what Herne said if ya want an early version... although I'm not really sure why you want 1.2 without having an offline installation with it...
