Installing Falcom 3 Total War 2.0 MOD

Hey everyone, to anyone who is playing the Falcom 3 Total War 2.0 I have tried to install the mod through the directions on the forum and I am unsure if I completed the steps or something is not working. I have no idea how to start it, how to play it, or even what to do to make it work. Understand that the last time I played this mod was before the 2.0 release and stopped due to crashing issues a decade ago. Can I get some advice/help anyone? Any assistance would be very much appreciated.

- The mod needs to be in it's own mod folder, eg for example m2tw\mods\falcom
- Inside the 'falcom' directory will be a batch (BAT) file: create a desktop shortcut by right clicking it and choose 'send to\desktop'
- Use the shortcut to start the mod.

I am surprised these instructions are not present at the download page.
