Reinstall Medieval 2, then proceed to install Third Age into a separate folder then move it into your 'Mods' folder.
Best solution is always to do a full, clean install, best of luck!
I did this but once I launched the game it would load in the Third Age screen and then black out :P
I did this but when I launched the game the loading screen looked completly different and when the game loaded it was the regular medieval 2 total war background and as I explored more and went to the factions screen for campaign it had the logos and pictures of the lord of the rings characters and factions but the name of the factions were still England Sicily Etc... I do not understand what this means but for some reason this keeps happening. Know why this happens?
