Which peasant is better? Pitchfork peasant or Highlander Rabble?
Any opinions? Pitchfork peasant (in england and others in europe) has a higher attack power, like a 4. Highlander Rabble (scottish) has only a 2 attack, but does not have the 'low morale' descriptor.

Anything is better then any of the two, so why bother?

I'd take the highlanders for defensive use and the fork guys for attack, though. 'low morale' makes for poor defense.

i use a highlander troops as meat shields or throw em on the flanks cause the are fast moving. When the infantry meet its easy to bring them around as your hammer troops while our cav scatters skirmishers. i also use them to pin down cav units. They're so cheap and they save your higher tier troops from a lot of casualties if used properly.

Peasants only campaign? It could be fun ;) Legend of Total War did one a long time ago.
