Lost CD key

I have the disks for Medieval 2 Total War Gold edition (base game and the 4 expansions) but I can't find the manual for this currently. I've talked to SEGA but they said they can't help me at all because it was my responsibility to look after this key (which I guess is fair enough policy wise but screws me over as I have a legit copy of the game). I wanted to install it via steam but without the key codes I can't do anything now. Any ideas on how to help me with this? * i DO NOT want illegal copies of the game, only ideas on how to find my legit key via the disks alone or prove to SEGA my copy is legit to help me but I don't have the reciept of purchase as it was nearly 10 years ago i bought it*

It's not installed currently, which is part of the problem as without the cd keys makes it hard to do anything. SEGA customer service don't even want to know about it tbh, and I suggested I can send them proof that I own the game but doesn't change their standing point (I guess due to potential free keys being given out).

That won't work smoking man as once you install it you need the CD key. Otherwise you have to put in a fake one which is then locked in the registry and doesn't help you find the original key anyway.

I guess your out of luck, I am in the same situation and I just bit the bullet and bought a new key for a fairly low price.
