Total War: MEDIEVAL II - Definitive Edition

I met the short victory conditions but nothing has happened
I am playing as England and i just bought the game but after i finally beat France and have 19 regions nothing popped up and i already beat Scotland as you do i would like help so i can unlock more factions

The short win condition for england is to hold 15 regions and destroy france and scotland.

Did you try to start a new campaign to see if more factions got unlocked?

Are you sure you don't have the victory conditions on long?

Thanks FozMan, I have a talent for forgetting the obvious: open your faction summary by clicking your faction's symbol at the bottom right of the screen and check the victory conditions listed in that window.

i did see that i had long win conditions on that menu but i thought i did short but i must have forgot to switch it when i started a new gameI really appreciate the help

this is not an issue, you can unlock all factions through game files. Do it. Search it on the internet

I described it a couple of times, the short form: open descr_strat.txt file in the Medieval II Total War\data\world\maps\campaign\imperial_campaign folder. Remove these two lines (lines 10 and 11):
unlockable
end
