Easiest way to work around this is just killing the new france faction via cheat, open console and type in surrender_regions france , press enter. Other way would to kill the heir outside the last settlement of new france or better any family member of new france outside the settlement, or kill any family member inside the settlement with assassins before it gets under siege, or delete the trigger section from the export_descr_character traits file in the americas folder ( you might have to unpack the americas folder with the unpacker tool in the medieval 2 main folder when you see no such file on first try ) for the specific turn/occasion and add it again when the faction is dead or in the next turn.
Wow! Thank you for quick answer, I think you are right cause there is a heir outside the settlement. I will try to solve it and I'll see if that works, hope it is :)
UPD: I typed down cheat code and this time everything worked correctly. Thank you for help!
Nice job, mekkerman. Radical, but nice.
