Where does one find the pre-battle speeches?

I have been going mental for the past hour trying to find the file containing all the pre-battle speeches. I have no idea where did they hide it or make it near impossible to access, and I'm also surprised I didn't find many people asking the same question, the ones I did find didn't have answers or I was too simple to understand the explanations. Most of them had something to do with export whatever files, but I didn't find anything like that. I was easily able to find pre-battle speeches for RTW:R by simply searching "speeches" in the folder, was there some sort of "text" folder that was removed in the steam version since thats where I found the RTW:R speeches? The worst part is that I clearly remember once finding the text file containing them. Perhaps I didn't dedicate enough time to actually finding the answer...

Anyways, that's a lot of unnecessary stuff I wrote. So, please, good lads of Steam, explain to me in simple terms where does one find the pre-battle speeches?

The speeches are linked to the 'full' general's traits and composition of his\opponents army. Captain led armies will have no speeches. Some factions will only use one liners.

The details can be found in the export_descr_sounds_prebattle file. Sound text files are not included in the unpacked files, so if you wish to experiment I suggest to install my sound dev kit. The basics are explained in the download thread:

Hi, thanks for responding, but I think you misunderstood what I meant. I simply wanted the text files that have the pre-battle speeches, not scripts or whatever for modding. I just want to look at them for my own entertainment I shalt say. So essentially just the text file that is used for the subtitles or whatever during the pre-battle speeches, or maybe I just didn't figure out where to find that file. Either way I'll be glad if you respond and help me out.

The system I described is the way the speech is stitched together. In other words sound files pertaining to traits and other details. Example from the file:

In the above case there is a choice of three sound files based on the player's general's trait 'Bad commander'.

The file were the text for the over 1200 sound files is listed is data\text\prebattle_speeches_subtitles - which will require unpacking the game and then converting the string.bin file format to text. Example:

{English_Intro_1_1}There are some knaves and scoundrels who doubt my ability to command men in battle. The sword's edge is my argument - I would waste no breath on them. We shall prove them wrong shortly, as we crush our enemies. 
{English_Intro_1_2}Doubt has been expressed about my abilities as a general! I laugh when I hear such remarks, for it shows that the speaker is a zany, a jester - a fool! Why, he might almost be a Frenchman! I have a mind to win a great victory and that will not come about if doubting fellows are allowed to spread malicious falsehoods. So we'll hear no more such talk! 
{English_Intro_1_3}I have heard mutterings from lesser men that I do not have the ability to lead a gaggle of geese, let alone an army. I smile when I hear such foolishness - and more, I sharpen my sword as a further argument in my favour! However, on this field, at the head of this army, my run of bad luck ends! I found the file, thanks, although it is put together like an eyesore.

Maybe you are using 'wordwrap' in Notepad? The subtitle file uses a single line per entry. See the 'format' tab to deselect that function for better viewing.

After all this was supposed to be for easy game reference, not for easy viewing. You will come across long lines in several game files, not only in the data\text directory.

Well what I meant is that there is a space between EVERY character, and if I want to search up "french" or "english" general speeches I have to manually put a space between every letter, which is just infuriating. I think I may have opened the file incorrectly. Anyways, is there any solution to remove these spaces?
