DaC on Macbook Air M2
Does anyone know if you can run and install DaC on macOS? I downloaded the mod but it seems that there is only available for windows. Does anyone know if it is possible to download and play it on a macbook or do i need to run windows to play it?

Thanks :)

Do some search on how to install mods on Mac - then apply it to DaC.

Tried this and it's very hard and was wondering if anyone had a simple solution, thanks :)

Nope, installing mods on Mac\Linux has always sucked - the penguin isn't known for supporting windows stuff graciously.
EDIT 2:
Didn't realised that the Question was about a Mod. My answer was about just running the basic Game. But maybe its worth a try for the Mod too.

Well, it runs on Linux by using Wine / Proton. A lot of Games today run with the Help of these tools on Linux. For some Games it can be necessary to add DxVk.

I know that Wine and wine-based Proton (Steam) have a Solution for Mac too. I'm not quite sure how similar it is. But on Linux you just need to enable Proton-Experimental for the Game and run the following Command as Start Option:
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%

EDIT:
Okay, I did a little research. Of course Apple want's to be a special Snowflake again and makes everything more complicated than it needs to be. But there seems to be a Solution.

On a Mac you need to install MoltenVK first. Thats the way to do so:
https://ports.macports.org/port/MoltenVK/

Than install Wine3D.

And after that, try the same steps as on a Linux-System, by activating Proton-Experimental in the Settings (-> Compatibility) of your Game and then enter the Command I talked about in the Start Options of your Settings.

lots of great info...

Always great to get detailed feedback like that - even if I haven't owned a Linux computer ever. I did however remember this forum at TWCenter where I helped a bit:

Hey, I know this is *super old*, but I've tried using DXVK on Divide and Conquer and my game crashes. Any ideas or have you had it working yourself on there? It gives an unspecified error.
