Best LOTR Mod Currently?

I played Third Age with the Divide and Conquer submod I believe years ago. Is this still the best? I've also seen some LOTR mods on Attila and Shogun 2 but not sure if they are "finished" enough to have a proper experience. Generally I kinda hate Attila anyways.

Anyone thats played multiple have an opinion? Third Age was pretty dang good when I last played it.

You should not be able to see or find any Middle Earth or other copyright infringing mods online at all. The one specifically you are asking about is why Assembly Kit was never released for Empire and Napoleon. SEGA got lucky with Warhammer making them purchase that three part license. Tolkien's copyright holder as not so gentle and almost broke SEGA.

Ok, well that's not helpful. I know these mods exist so unless they got taken down, which it appears they haven't, then I would like to play.

I guess DaC is still the best Lord of the rings mod, the 5.0 update was pretty good.

There is also the Third age extended mod which looks interesting since it uses M2TWEOP but I haven´t played it yet.

What is honestly truly sad, only a rare handful of people have any actual memory or knowledge anymore preferring to rely upon Google to be censored and manipulated to think only certain things.

Go find a 1967-1974 set of World Book encyclopedias, year books and science books for the same period. Every single detail is valid and true when entered and still valid and true. HOWEVER, you will find less than 10% of it online through Google which matches the reality of science and education. It is all still there in college libraries, but removed from public common access online to be replaced by nonsense claiming to be science and history.

During the pandemic, towards the end of 2022, everyone stuck at home, people picked up that box of decades of publications they had always intended to read to discover 99% of all science published since the mid 1990s was nothing more than foreign students taking grant money, faking the research, and writing their findings off the top of their heads. Nearly two thirds of historically accurate and accepted science publications shut down unable to overcome they had accepted fake science only for decades without ever once verifying. 2023 saw the overturning of all the publicly pushed climate change, global warming, greenhouse gasses, carbon dioxide faked panic science the world has spent hundreds of billions of dollars attempting helplessly to do something about what nothing can be done about. Turns out, it was all profiteering for personal profit through theft of grant money by deception.

NOR, two years later, go back to google and search climate change or global warming. The publicly passed lies are all still there held in place by Google.

So, I do not honestly expect anyone who wasn't there back during the lawsuits following along to accept and believe because Google will never ever tell you the truth and reality hiding this truth and reality by a US federal court gag order. No employee or associate of CA, SEGA, or Atari is allowed to confirm or deny or they get sued and go to jail. Instead of using Google to find only lies, please pick up a US Federal Lawbook and read what a gag order is in reality.
