My stainless steel wont work no matter what I do at all

So let me explain whats happening. I install the stainless steel 6.4 file normally and run 6.3 then 6.4 but then it tells me i dont have the kingdoms file. Ok, I create the kingdoms file and then it tells me I dont have it. Alright I install the steam mod fixer to tell it I actually have it. It then tells me there is a fatal error so I install the LAA and meloo patches to fix up what could be happening there.it tells me again about the fatal error so I install the SS 6.4 full path. Still tells me there is a fatal error so I give the kingdoms file administrator permissions and it still gives me the fatal error issue.

Is there any possible way to fix this?

i still have the problem even when using the installer, even the steammodfixer finds kindom.exe but not the launcher

Installation - What is the path to the mod? example: medieval ii total war\mods\ss6.3
Permissions - Have you applied any compatibility to the mod's exe file?

for the first one its proper but for the second one I dont know what that is. Also I followed your guide and im stil having issues

Second: Compatibility mode, see link below - it should NEVER be applied to the mod's executable files, only the main game's executable file(s), eg medieval2 and kingdoms

Alr thx, it did something because now instead of giving an error its now saying it cant locate kingdoms again even though I repeated the process with kingdoms

Check this:
1. kingdoms.exe present in the game's main directory
2. Mod is in this directory: m2tw\mods\SS6.3
3. The two executable files in the SS6.3 have not been changed, eg NO compatibility setting, NO LAA (4GB Patch)

If all the above is good then you should be fine - I am suspecting you did something in point #3

Ok so everything is good but it still says that I dont have kingdoms

Do me (and yourself) a favor:

1. manually delete the mods\SS6.3 and the desktop shortcuts for the mod
2. Download and install my repack, see first post of mine
3. Download and install the small hotfix, linked in that article

The installation is a simple: just click 'next' until it's done. The installer will find the correct directory (no path adjustment needed) and it will create the kingdoms executable file in case it doesn't already exist.
Whatever you did to the main executable files will remain, which should then enable you to run the set up shortcut after which your game will start

What file is the repack? its a little unclear
