Total War: MEDIEVAL II - Definitive Edition

4gb patch installation
I've downloaded the 4GB patch to help with occasional crashing on kingdoms and third age that I've experienced (doesn't happen on vanilla.) Where do I find the exe file for Kingdoms to run it?

If I remember correctly u just make a copy of medieval2.exe and name it kingdoms.exe
and when you apply the patch you should apply to bot exe's

Correct, or more simply patch medieval2.exe then make a copy so you don't have to patch twice.

The patch opens a box to find the executable and the executable is in the base game folder for medieval 2.

I've you've seen around the mod folder where projects like third age live, it's just one level up. You can also just look for local files through the game properties in the steam client and it should drop you where needed.
