They're not big no, but it does require focus to not get silver surfers.
On the other hand, just giving them godlike stats and leaving them as is, makes it quite fun to do have a silver surfer unit decimating entire armies.
thanks for the info every bit helps.
ownership france, england, slave
In the export_descr_buildings you need to search all the lines that make seargents recruitable and add england as well or make a new line for england alone like this:
recruit_pool "Armored Sergeants" 1 0.17 2 0 requires factions { france, england, }
in the battle_models you need to give the seargents to england as well but this is a bit more tricky, the file is very touchy and game will not start if you make an error, basicly search for the seargents and add england to the list of factions. Take an entry of another faction that has seargents and copy it, rename the faction to england, there is a number on the beginning of the list that defines how many factions have that unit increase that by one as you just added another faction, there is a second important number in front of the faction that simply says how many letters the faction has for england this would be 7 england, change accordingly, to make things more complicated there are at least two entries for each unit and there is usually another officer model as well the silver surfer checker I posted will help you in finding the officer model in case it´s missing, or look at the export_descr_units there is an entry of the model as well that tells you where to look. Here is also an tutorial for the battle_models file https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php/79455-Updated-formatted-modeldb-file-and-associated-syntax-checker
