Tsardoms Not working

I encountered an error while trying to load up Tsardoms Total War for the first time. It said that Medieval II had encountered a fatal error. I followed all the install directions, but I suspect it has something to do with the Launch Options. I may have typed in the incorrect name or something. Thank you for any help in advance

Remove any entry in Steam's launch options. Then check in the mod's directory for a BAT file, create a desktop shortcut (right click the file and 'send to desktop'). Now use that shortcut to run the mod.

Couldn't find a BAT, only a bat.BACKUP.

Looks like you tried to apply LAA to the BAT file and the AV removed the original?

Simply rename the file to only BAT, after that create the shortcut.
