You're tried to start Third Age and it says kingdoms.exe not found or something like that?
Viksteri May 8, 2016 @ 10:07am
yes just like that

Just go in the third age file in mods and edit the file called Third Age. it is a bat file which you can open with notepad or notepad ++. There just one line : start kingdoms.exe @mods\Third_Age_3\TATW.cfg
Change kingdoms.exe to medieval2.exe and you're good to go.

if it says acces denied then try this first
look under example and use the second from left to rigcht and do that for the MTW2 folder
http://www.eightforums.com/tutorials/2814-take-ownership-add-context-menu-windows-8-a.html
then do this
in you third age 3 folder there should be the following files from top to bottom
custom
data
packs
prefereces
saves
a ring icon
TATW
third age 3.0 uint stats [should be an exel file]
third age [this file do you need]
now follow the instructons in the quotes

Mate all you got to do is this:

1. Go to Medieval 2: Total War Folder in Files(x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Mdeieval II Total War

2. Find your medieval2.exe application.

3. Copy this to your desktop.

4. Rename this .exe file to kingdoms (if that doesn't work rename it to kingdoms.exe)

5. Drag it back into your main Medieval II Total War Folder.

6. Sorted. Play any bloody mod you want. None of that editing a file stuff.
