Report a translation problem
To repair this error should be as simple as right clicking Medieval 2 in your games list, select properties. On the window that pops open, select the local files tab. Here you want to click verify file cache and let it run. It will remove and replace any files that do not match the system cache.
For first time run after verifying cache, on that open window, select browse files, right click medieval2.exe, select properties, go to the compatibility tab, set compatibility to the oldest operating system available and tick the Run as Administrator. Leave this open, but click apply. Go back to your games list and start Medieval 2 accepting to run at the elevated level. Verify it is working properly, close the game, go back and untick Run as Administrator and try again. If it is still running properly, close out your extra windows and enjoy.
