Hi, i can not board the ship with Rufus General direcction to Caen.

check that the boat is close enough to the shore. Does the general have enough movement points?

Campain is scripted movement i dont do nothing, General rufus dont move more and cant pass turn

Did this get fixed do you know? I read so many great things about this game and now I'm stuck on the tutorial!!

Yes, it is broken. The problem is that King Harold (from the battlefield tutorial) does not die and his army creates a zone of control that prevents Rufus from bording the ships. And since it is all scripted, you cannot do any kind of workaround.

Just forget the campaign tutorial and begin playing the Grand Campaign with advice on high. You will soon get the hang of the game.

Ok guys to get on the boat Rufus is what you have to do is move the boat along the coast near rufus until you can not move and then I let pass the turn and boarding the ship and continue the tutorial.

Just select your ship and move it from left to right, from right to left and so on... from up to below... until you can click on the "end round" button (The hourglas symbol). It is not necessary to get Rufus into the ship nor to get him on the other side of the British Channel.

Now its possible to complete the Tutorial.

Solltet ihr das Problem haben das ihr in der Einführungsmission Rufus nicht in das Schiff bekommt. Klickt auf das Boot und fahrt es einfach so lange sinnlos hin und her bis ihr die Runde beenden könnt. (Klick auf die Sanduhr). Danach kann man die Kampagne weiterspielen.

what if it wont let you move anything? I select Rufus and his icon is red and he can't move. I select the ship and I can see where it CAN move, but it won't let me move it. Never played this game or many like it, so I really don't want to rage quit and never try it again.

Just start a campaign as England - you'll pick up the mechanics pretty quickly.

Just came here with the same problem.

I'll go back and try @magi2202 suggestion and see if I can make it work. I was quite enjoying the Tutorial up to the point it got stuck.

Ok! That worked.

So, what you have to do is when Gwendolyn say move Rufus onto the boat, move him where indicated, but when he won't get on the boat just select the boat and keep moving it back and forth until you expend all its movement.

When the boat runs out of movement the Tutorial automatically moves on and allows you to end the turn. Problem solved, or at least avoided.

Thought I'd better post a follow up to the above because what I discovered is that Gwendolyn's Tutorial doesn't continue until you put Rufus on the boat.

So, its not quite true that you don't need to bother. But once you have ended the turn you will find its quite easy to arrange the boat and Rufus' Army so that he can embark.

And as soon as you do the Tutorial continues from where it left off.
