Easy +5 Charm for Princess
Using my princess, I opened up negotiations with a diplomat of the Papal States and gave him 100 cash as a gift, 8 times separately. When i closed the negotiation panel she had gotten +5 Charm!

I got easy +5 on Spy by just entering foreign settlements (doesn't need to be in war with them, usually pretty high chance by default like +35% and gets higher as level goes up just do it on a settlement that doesn't have a general with traits that might get your Spy killed)

Yes, but princesses or diplomats aren't supposed to level up just by gifting florins... Am i wrong?

dunno, for me diplomats have just "upgraded" after waiting several turns. Never did the skill increase after I got trade rights or etc.

IIRC, the diplo traits have a hidden counter, so they'll go up with each sucessful negotiation but they'll go down with each failed one. This makes upgrading the trait hard because every single thing you propose needs to be accepted and you run out of trades eventually.

As far as given florings, I've not seen it increase the trait, but if you can replicate the sucess it would be very interesting, as mantaining charm in princesses is a real problem.
