PLZ HELP.... Bots in lan?

I finally am able to play medieval 2 with my brother, specifically third age reforged, and we were really excited to fight bots together, but when I host a custom lan battle, there is no option to add them. less than a year ago I played lan battles with someone and could have sworn that we played with bots. If theres a way to add them or even maybe a mod please let me know

afaik, there's no way to do so in medieval 2. the base game doesn't support it, and no one was able to mod such a thing. you can create a custom battle for yourself however.

Total bummer. I enjoy custom battles, I do them a lot, just would be nice to do them with someone else too
