Historic battle - Agincourt
Hey everyone, I hope youre all doing well...

I had a question about the Agincourt battle...

What is a quick run down of how you guys do it / general strategy? When you start out you have some dismounted knights and two units of billmen BEHIND your archers, I assume these should be used for the sneaky little ♥♥♥♥♥ that come up behind us? So I should just set them up in a line facing the other way....

Ive really been wanting to try and get a "perfect" battle where i get next to no losses. Im starting to get pretty good. I figured out I can slight re position archers so when the french infantry are engaged with my front line I can fire into their sides/ backs. I also move that group of infantry in the center back a little bit...it draws the enemy in closer and increases the angle my archers can fire in on them

I also have started taking an archer unit from the far left or far right, sending them out into the woods, working my way down to the opposite side of the field and firing from the side into units that havent even moved toward my line yet and they just stand there and take it.

Those crossbowmen are a pain though, more time then not they catch me... My archers can manage to mow down fully armored fast moving targets (the knights charging my position) but they cant manage to kill a group of 70 crossbowmen? Grr..
They never retreat or break either. Those crossbowmen literally stand and fight to the very last freaking man, meanwhile noble knights cut and run when they lose 70% of their unit.

I still cant decide if fire arrows are worth it or not... a portion of the units burn instantly. The archers I have positioned to fire into the sides and backs of the french,,, i think I will try and have them use fire arrows

Anyone else have any unorthodox methods for this level?
