medieval II.exe and kingdoms.exe should be in the same folder at the end. You shouldn't have to type .exe at the end, or else you'll end up with kingdoms.exe.exe which will not work.

followed everything when i click to start the game nothings changed lol
Its cuz you need to launch a mod through the laucher that comes with the mod or the .bat inside the mod folder.....
If you launch through steam...you get vanilla
