Med2 TW mod Stainless Steel 6.4

Will smeone sort out the CTD every time you start a battle or fight a siege.. Error enccountered an unspecified error and will now close. Why does it not state the type of error. I've had enough of this time wasting. I thought it was fixed and had a few battles now it's bloody started all over again. It's a shame because it's a decent game when it works.

Assuming 6.3 has been installed correctly and 6.4 correctly installed over it, a few things;
- run in admin mode
- if you have that game in program files, for the love of god, get it out D: unless you want to figure out how to totally remove UAC's grip on the folder, which is relatively simple to do, perhaps less to explain
- Install bugfix compilation 1.27 from Total War Center, which, in addition to possibly removing a few bugs, has a launcher setting that can further try and fix the bug
- Apply LAA; find it, read what it's about, and then use it on your game executable(s)

Excuse my ignorance but what is LAA? I did have Med2 TW installed in Steam which is on my D: drive (there is no room on C: drive) but things have moved on. I'm going to start everything from scratch using your suggestions. Thank you.

Make sure you also use the unofficial patch.

Without it, certain factions ( Like late-game HRE ) are just bound to crash your game.

Mate, CA hasn't bothered with this game in years, and they probably won't. It's important to understand the age of the game and the general lack of support over time. Given how mods work for this game, I don't even think there's a point to a workshop - follow instructions and mods are extremely easy to install.

bro How can I fix the problem that I would be recommended to easily solve a non-official patch?

Installation or system side error mate, it's a solution you'll have to find, and a problem not everyone has by any means. All the tools to fix the issue are likely in the thread, if not here, already on the internet if you search for it.
