Hyrule, as far as I know, is out of development.
TATW 3.2 is also out of development yet several submods; Divide and Conquer (SP) and Reforged (MP) are both still in active development.
Hyrule is a fun one to play through, due to the fact that it has a unique mechanic in which players can convince "minor" factions to join them via diplomacy. Also, there's no family tree for any of the factions and general units are supposedly "immortal" (I had Link die of disease).
Never the less, each faction is unique (because they're different races), and there's incredibly beautiful custom (and somewhat buggy) settlements for most major settlements. Of course, one of the main parts of the game, Hyrule Historia, is completed, and of which offers a history of Hyrule from UndyingNephalim's darker way of storytelling. Hyrule Historia basically replaces the Historical Battles selection.
Of course, it does carry with itself some bugs and what-not. Such as the fact that the mod never fully "finished" development. UndyingNephalim appears to have given up on the development of Hyrule Total War after ver3.8 due to the fact that the scripting has not been playing nice with them, thus not allowing them to utilize it for what they want it to do.
This does mean that some scripting mechanics does not work or does not exist, such as scripting for the River Zora to have no settlement, or Majora descending on the Campaign map to wreck havoc. Certain units and factions have also never seen updates in a while as well, meaning that their ui picture and skins are at a sharp constrast to certain other factions who have been updated. A sad fate, but still playable regardless of that fate.
It's quite fun, but not as polished as TATW (although DaC is hardly "polished...")
That's cuz you're still living in DaC 0.53 and they're ready to release v2.0 in quarter 1 of this year.
Oi! I'm running DaC v1.01.
You do know that DaC v1.2 is already out right :P
yes I do, but I also know that it lowers the area of effect of Dwarven mortar shot
which is why I'm running 1.01 :P
The things we do for a better show... :)
My Warg Riders and Scourge Raiders make mince meat of your Dwarves anyway, if I'd still have the save :(
