Total War: MEDIEVAL II - Definitive Edition

Game crashes when I start a campaign on TES: Total War mod, what can I do? D:
So yesterday I installed The Elder Scrolls: Total War mod and the 1.4.1 hotfix, but the game crashes when I start a campaign. Custom battle works fine. What can I do?

I had the same problem with Darkmod (Rome Total War) though, and I found out I needed to remove a file to fix it
So remove the Removable File.

If you actually read the install instructrions for TES then there's a specific line that tells you to remove a file. I know that cuz I downloaded TES yesterday to have a go at it.

So unless you actually removed said file, don't throw your frustration at someone who's actually read the install instructions.

That said, chances are I'll be getting the mod to work in 1 go but I can't tell you till this afternoon so several specific questions;

1) How do you install
2) Where do you install
3) How do you launch

Answer these and proper answers might come your way.

I've given you 3 specific questions that can solve 100 problems with a mod and yet I'm the unhelpful person?

the 1.4.1 hotfix,

The 1.4.1 hotfix is obsolete. Get the 1.41 patch.

Allright.

I have done the following;
Unrarred; TESTW-1.4
Unrarred; TESTW-1.4.1 (the PATCH)
Unrarred; TESTW unoffical patch 1.41

Copied The_Elder_Scrolls folder from TESTW1.4 into the Medieval 2\Mods folder
Copied The_Elder_scrolls folder from TESTW1.4.1 into the Medieval 2\Mods folder
Overwritten all files it wanted to overwrite
Copied the The_Elder_Scrolls folder from TESTW Unoffical patch into the Medieval2\Mods folder
Overwritten all files it wanted to overwrite

*NOTE; I did not remove any files*

Launched the mod using TESTW Launcher

Took a big long load, no worries

Started up a campaign

Long load, no worries

Campaign loaded. Aside from various missing text files I don't see anything wrong with it. That said, haven't ended turn 1 due to dinner that arrived.

So, I'm going to back to my most basic mod installation questions;

1) How do you install
2) Where do you install
3) How do you launch
