If you actually read the install instructrions for TES then there's a specific line that tells you to remove a file. I know that cuz I downloaded TES yesterday to have a go at it.
So unless you actually removed said file, don't throw your frustration at someone who's actually read the install instructions.
That said, chances are I'll be getting the mod to work in 1 go but I can't tell you till this afternoon so several specific questions;
1) How do you install
2) Where do you install
3) How do you launch
Answer these and proper answers might come your way.

Copied The_Elder_scrolls folder from TESTW1.4.1 into the Medieval 2\Mods folder
Overwritten all files it wanted to overwrite
Copied the The_Elder_Scrolls folder from TESTW Unoffical patch into the Medieval2\Mods folder
Overwritten all files it wanted to overwrite
*NOTE; I did not remove any files*
Launched the mod using TESTW Launcher
Took a big long load, no worries
Started up a campaign
Long load, no worries
Campaign loaded. Aside from various missing text files I don't see anything wrong with it. That said, haven't ended turn 1 due to dinner that arrived.
So, I'm going to back to my most basic mod installation questions;
1) How do you install
2) Where do you install
3) How do you launch
