Can't install Kingdoms version 1.05

Hi all!
I was trying to install the Custom Campaign Map for Medieval 2 Kingdoms, and as I was going through the process, I found that I required Patch 1.05. So, I looked for it, and while I was installing it it said: "No installation of Medieval 2 Kingdoms was found. Setup aborted." I've tried many different options, but none of them seem to work. Does anyone know how I can install it.

I have a Macbook Air, and Medieval Kingdoms is a seperate Steam instalation.

ok so did you installed Custom Campaign 1 or 2? because the Custom Campaign 1 dont work anymore. and many have got error such as these on the first one. so if you tried to install the custom campaign 1 you must install 2. because that works perfectly,

Unfortunatly I seem to be getting the same issue. I tried using a Windows device for it, but I got it again. Here is an image of the problem: https://imgur.com/gallery/9QWnX

I never not any message from Steam that I should, so how could I tell?

can you try one thing that can maybe work?

1. right click medieval 2 in library.
2. click proporties
3. click local files
4. click verify integrity of the game cache

if you havent done that before i recommend. when you click it will add files that you maybe accidentally deleted, tries to fix errors and so on.

It simply says: "All files succesfully validated".
