Total War: MEDIEVAL II - Definitive Edition

Total War: MEDIEVAL II - Definitive Edition

will it play on Windows 10
Hey, I'm not PC literate usually I'm happy enough on the playstation, put the disc in and go happy days. Got the urge to plays oldies every now and then though and recently went to play Rome (1) for the first time since going to windows 10 and will it **** play! Looked up online and done the stuff ppl were saying, copied pasted all the stuff from one folder to the other system 32 stuff and all that rubbish, even downloaded a file off a site with a prefrences folder that was suppose to fix it and nothing changes. seems Windows 10 is a big issue from what I've read.

So I blow dust of the Medievil 2 box and try to install that but disc must have gave up as it crashes as soon as i click install. Sick by now so thought sod it I'll buy it again but if I'm going to have the same chew with this as Rome is there any point. Has anyone had any issues on Windows 10?

Windows 10 has big issues with administrative rights for Rome and ok for most for Medieval 2.

Put your disk key into Steam and you already own Medieval 2 on Steam.
I've had no issues on Win10 for M2.

I've had a lot of issues on Win10 for R1, so I can't completely reccommend it there (5fps when I manually assault settlements of any size).
Cheer's guys.
If I put the key in from my disc copy does that mean I dont need the disc anymore ?

No, you shouldn't need the disk - but keep it around anyway.
I can play it on windows 10
cheers for replys, I tried Rome through the code without the disc and its working fine, so think i'm going to go that route first. Steam must of updated it themselves as the downloaded versions works spot on
It really all depends on how much administrator rights your user account retains.
