Does this mean we need a group of people to play? And we need to use TWCenter to post all the turns taken?
If you and your friend would like to get involved in a group for these hotseats I'd be happy to oblige, seeing that I've created one with quite a few active people.
And if its just you and a friend you don't really need a platform to post anything. If its just you and a friend you can just email them the turn, its only when it gets to be more than 2 people that you should use a steam group or TWC to organize.
Gotcha glad no group is needed.
How hard is it to adjust the files to set it up? Im not technically minded. Also, will this affect the single player campaigns?
2) Pick your mod and all install the same mod. It doesn't matter how you launch it or anything nasty - you just need the mod.
3) The "Host" / "Game Admin" creates the game and plays his/her turn.
4) Upon the "New Player - please enter your password," the host Saves and Exits the game.
5) The host then grabs the save file from wherever it's located and sends it - via email - off to the next player.
6) The next player plays their turn, on the Next Player screen they Save and Exit and send it off.
- You do not need to post turns on TWCenter unless you are worried about cheating / playing seriously. If you're with a friend, neither are likely.
- You cannot fight battles Player vs Player unless you want to do a huuuuuuuuuge amount of fiddling with data files & the battle editor. Usually just use autoresolve.
That's if you're being ultra-serious for some sort of recognition. If you're playing with a friend in your spare time, you needn't bother with all the rules.
