Wow this shard change
So I wanted to see just how crazy stacking these shards could be. With 13 shard that have 10% endurance my level 29 warrior who is in all exotic gear 'of endurance' went from 1595 hitpoints to 3610 hitpoints. I mean damn they were already unkillable and that more than doubled thier health!!

Next I'm going to play around with my mage and see what eagle eye criticals can do with intellect shards. Should be pretty monstrous.

Mage went from 358 intellect to 681. Lightning storm critical for 1525 and 2670 with anoint. Incinerate critical for 3800 and 6650 with anoint. Note that mage only has 260% critical hit damage. I planneed to convert this mage to a 350% mage lord. Without any sockets being used mage incinerate criticals 1861 and 3258 with anoint. So damage more than doubles.

Not mind blowing but it's alright. Blademaster probably going to be pretty decent as well.

I haven't had the will power to math out is socketed is the best gear bonus now or if there is a breakpoint. Where Str, Int bonus is better.

Mage can easily have over 1100 intellect (for lvl 30), if someone decided to give up on critical hit strength...

I used highest possible intellect+critical hit items.
Absolutely the best user of Intellect is poisonous Nature Bargain's user, of course. Best class for it is Hermit, because can wear all max. intellect items or change some of them for Aetherweave for HP. Can solo Corruptor no doubt.
I went for Ranger to have more speed in case I wanted to speed-farm 3x300% Stairs.

additional pros is +15% armor so when I upgraded all equipment to lvl 5, it's 83% in total I think :D
The breakpoint would depend on the value of total stat that you begin from, and amout of sockets+shards that are on your disposal. If it is maximum that is like 30 sockets and base int per tier is higher or equal 5, then better than +1 bonus is +10%*2 bonus. For example highest possible int. per tier is 26.5 (unless I don't know about something) so using 2 shards instead of +1 int per tier is like 15.6% more efficient. But damm, godlike Shards are so epic!

Blademaster would have 45% base critical hit of 350% strength and 822 base total damage in Annihilator Set and using Bull's Hammer. Ring without strength
.. finally a good alternative to full 100% Dilaera characters XD

Eh I feel like you guys underestimate eagle eye. It's only a half action so it doesn't 'waste a round' IMO. If it was a full action I'd think less of it.

So nice guaranteeing the crit and not having to stack any critical on gear at all. Would be nice if more gear pieces had +critical damage but alas.

Edit: I still find it hard to choose between mage and mage lord. Mage has overload and arcane armor. Lord can offheal really well but heals don't matter much in current content. It also gets 50% critical damage off that standard. Overall mage just seems so much better cause mage lord never has to help healing. If fights were actually challenging mage lord would be much stronger. It's nice absorbing a disintegration beam like it's nothing cause of arcane armor.

Mage doesn't have any skill to get free action, unless you stack some evasion items... so sacrifising 50% of speed means 50% less damage delivery :D
so for fast farm in terms of speed I say pretty nope to eagle's eye.
However for 900% stronger Executor in ShatteredStairs mod https://imgur.com/KKNXTYl , there would be not enough minions to feed +75% critical hit rage, so then certainly Eagle's Eye would be a good option...
Btw Sorcery+Battle gets free action for each death, but this class has "restricted: battle" for some items I wanted, and I don't have slots for more characters:(

With improved shards, what would be ultimate poison/magic team? Let's say max 3 stolen talents per character, unless really good/necessary.

Depends if you really need quickness: as I mentioned, I have low poison dmg Ranger 670int 600HP because of gaining full action whenever Missle is casted by enemy; the highest int + Nature's Bargain has Hermit (around 1100 int or 1000 if you use Aetherweave for more HP). Stolen Talents, this poison int Hermit/Ranger is so OP that can solo most of 3x300% stairs, however I used one poison from Rogue's tree (deals 1100 dmg when expires, applies to weapon attack - if you use any other skill it won't work, only the normal attack) - it is important to cancel HP regen. And I give Bodyguard for all of my team members, whenever I loot any... Well my secret is that I make multiple builds from one save file, modified into multiple save files...
Other team members: now my favourite is what I sent in screenshot: 1400HP Illiana Jaeger as a tank (Arcane Armor stance) and AoE to kill low hp Lythiana's evil Clone, or Incarnate damage dealer. Boduguard protects Poison low hp a bit in my team, or just Bear+Faithful Companion. Besides, Weald Protector as her armor provides 10% HP regen and Nature's Bargain even more regen. But if you have a slow but 100% start action tank for 2 turn Shield Wall protection, it'd be a good idea for speed farm as well. Slow because eg. my real main tank gets 0.65 action per getting hit by 200 quickness enemies so he's getting in the way like 15 times before my damage dealer can actualy act... sorry for messed and spammy answer XD
