Ranged weapons
Looking for good weapon recommendation for my scout (and maybe future nemesis). Currently I own this little piece of goodness (on level 16 character):

{ Yaas, Dilaera <3 }

oh well wink wink not only Exotic but also 5 Dilareas which is almost impossible woah :O Impresive.

Well, for pure RANGED damage dealer Nemezis certainly suits best and 5-slots Crosbow is a good choice.

HOWEVER
https://imgur.com/yNMSoK1
Shardstem Bow grants 3% crictal hit and Exotic socketed version has 3 socket slots. Maximum Cricital Hit Strength is capped 350% anyways so it's only the %chance

However the most efficient usage of a Scout is - imo - Buffer+Debuffer. Thus, I recommend the secret god-like 200+ Evasion Build with Thyison's and Deepwood Bow weapon (which adds +0.2 Action per Evasion).

Although, for Nemezis you may try melee weapon, 'cos it's the Stance that makes Nemesis so good imo:D Bows have overally low damage compared to Double-Handed mallets. A full Dex-build with 2 best daggers may be an alternative to 2-H weapons, but I'll wait for respec-item to try this heh.

Shards are really hard to get in this game, all but one came from world encounters - strangely, most were Dilareas.

I wanted to switch to Nemesis for exaclty this - pure ranged ownage (ranger is also an option, but mostly single target poisoning and healing/buffing), although I'm not sure about equipment and skills. Any hints? My Shardstem was destroyed in process of recovering, well, shards ;)
Scout is pure DEX with tonic of quickness addiction.

I think I've read somewhere about your super-evasion-build, but would you mind to write more on this topic? Skills, talents, items and party synergy/composition - I probably still lack some. I have Thyison's bandolier, and epic (non-exotic) Deepwood Bow, also Griffonsdown Mantle (and Prowler's set, but that's only +10 evasion from 5 pieces).

Melee Nemesis? Sounds interesting. I may have a few exotic mauls waiting for this.

https://imgur.com/H1PpgLS and still a few buffs could easily make it over 200.
base stats: https://imgur.com/W1pUH4s
my Relics which I use, I change team quite frequently not paying attention to adjusting Relics. There is a scroll that grants +2 evasion. https://imgur.com/nZDYKQh (Cricital Hit + Free Skill Use)

Thyison's Bag +5 -- for pure Evasion one may prefer to use it as Relic and wear Shroud of Shadow
Deepwoods Shortbow +10
Griphonsdown Mantle +4
Prowlers Set bonus for 5 pieces: +10

"of Evasion" suffix for 6 pieces of equipment and a ring: +14

Dextirity bonus +- 4

Skills:
https://imgur.com/WuQ935A (3 stolen talents is a must, Snare was just a wild experiment that went wrong :P)

Skills-Buffs:
Blink +40
Move (Restless Condition) +15
Elusive Stance +20

above skills can be used every single round

when HP below 50%, gain +25 evasion -- if you have lots of Herbs or other Resurections, you may not use Shards of Eridos to keep this ability being triggered all the time

If you had another utility character, you may get +20 from Covering Fire

furthermore:
Hidden +50 for 3 rounds
Terrain conditions... tbh I don't remember it well now, it's been a while..
buff from Cleric +10 (unless you want to keep HP below 50% or the Cleris has low Endurance)

Shards: Eridos and some Starting Action for synergy.
There is incredible amout of possible uses and I made him because I got destroyed in Shattered Stairs. But now I have several other tank builds so the Scout buffer+debuffer is the only option of survival against him: https://imgur.com/KKNXTYl

to sum up above numbers, it's 67 passive evasion, 142 every round evasion with no rush, 192 after Hidden, and including Benedition +10, Terrain Condition +15, Survival +25, CF +20, Hightened Reflex +15... Thyison's Bag of Tricks as Relic +5 while using Shroud of Shadow, and another Relic for +2 evasion...
284 Evasion... further increased by high-level Dextirity...

when Evasion gets equal Accuracy, there is 0% to get hit. ... well I GUESS, I have no certainty. Most monsters on 3x300% have max. 155 Accuracy which means that when are being debuffed -30, you can afford doing lots of stuff meanwhile buffing Scout to 127 Evasion which is risky if opponents remove debuffs.

the 142 evasion is most practical, but if you use Debuffs, then you don't need to use "move" to gain +15, instead some other party Buff skills.

It's overally very risky build and I'm not sure if I get hit sometimes due to commiting a misstake (not paying attention to debuffs and letting my guard down to 127 evasion istead of 145) OR opponents have 100%-hit-chance skill which cancels Evasion istead of removing -100 Evasion. XD
Well I won't spam about synergy, there are 3 slots for Stolen Talents, some mentioned such as really "nasty" usage with Retribution :O

{...ah and I recommend this scout buffer+debuffer build so much because obviousely:
on 300% speed you have like 70 quickness at best after using 30 Tonics, and opponents have 150, so you can even use only Tonics of Power and still have Scout as fastest party member due to +0.55 action per Evasion... when 6 opponents keep attacking him, he can do a lot during this time, and having 150 attack when Enforcer hits 900-5700, Combined Assault and stuff...
all the Cooldowns are cooled in seconds etc...}

And now... lets praise Dilaera, for She's the Only Righteous One...
let us dwell beneath Thy side,
for Thine silence wields the might of Death,
let us run Thy groundshaking Glory,
our Enemies forsaken upon Thy wrath.
o Dilaera
Immo May 8, 2018 @ 12:35pm
yeah I don't sound like a high priest of Dilaera, rather a foreign wannabe clericlolXD
btw I'm not sure if when I kill Executor using Shards of Dilaera, to pay vengence for killing Dilaera, I serve Dilaera goddess of Death or Aristei goddess of Retribution....
Kosiciel May 8, 2018 @ 5:19pm
That's some awesome dedication to evasion! But what if monsters have attacks like we do - that guarantee hit? Just a guess, a human mistake/miscalculation is also a possibilty.

Equipment aside, hunting those stolen talents must be a huge time investment - I didn't even try it once. Is it possible to save scum, like with legendary bosses? What are favourite team members for this super-evasive tank? I would also like a squad suggestion for super-fast talent farming (3x50% obviously), would love me some magic AoE :)

What if Dilaera and Aristei are twins united?
Torzelbaum May 8, 2018 @ 7:33pm
Immo, have you tried that evasion build with a Tracker with Camouflage and Herb Lore?

yeah I'm not quite sure about monsters skill, maybe I missed an option to read what do they actualy do, dunno. However there is quite a solution, a Hermit evasive tank: 90 evasion and 90%-100% resistances for everything, 1k HP. He'll be no match against Executor anyways IF he wouldn't have supporters: Scout with Bamboozle. You can drain Executor's mana so he possibly won't use his never-missing skills. I'm speaking about 900% boosted Executor. Any other monster is just no match for a Tank, draining him maybe 50% hp (my tanks have 100% hp regen each round)

Equipment aside, hunting those stolen talents must be a huge time investment - I didn't even try it once. Is it possible to save scum, like with legendary bosses?

Sorry I'm not quite good at english, what does it mean to save scum XD I just massively farmed Shattered Stairs, for Expirience and secondly for Stolen Talents - have 2 full bags of them now and you can check how many times I finished it, I have 35 Bounty keys, spent maybe 10, so completed it like 9 times x 3 floors only. Droprate is nice I think. Especialy while one hit killing them all. Maybe 2 hits.

I would also like a squad suggestion for super-fast talent farming (3x50% obviously), would love me some magic AoE :)
That one is quite simple and indeed it's a mage - to one hit kill all bosses...
For the build it's simply maximum Intellect stat you can get, thus all Artifacts with Intellect stat. It leaves this mage no HP so it's only useful on 3x50%. Also you need way over 100 Accuracy, to never miss.

N-Dimentional Cube -- for Intellect and mana
Arcturu's Beam -- for cricital hit and Intellect
Veil of the Hidden Realm -- for Accuracy

filled with Omnischience Set which has highest Intellect stat.

HOWEVER in case the value of Intellect was not high enough or you didn't want to have starting-action Cleric with Aoint, then just use

instead of Vestmen of the Cruel artifact robe, use
an epic robe that grands +50% cricital hit chance after a kill

If your mage had 25% cricital hit chance, while using Lightning to hit 6 enemies, it's almost certain that one of them will get criticaly slaughtered. In this case, next shot hits all remaining enemies with maximum strength ;)

What are favourite team members for this super-evasive tank?
It depends whether you just try out Shattered Stairs on 3x300% (then better option is just a simple tank, other team members come on too many possibilities not to make it a huge spam post XD)
If you farm quickly then well fastest way is just to run it using 2 party members: tank and AoE mage.........
Super Evasive tank is either for really strong 3x300% Stairs groups in case you don't have strong enough casual Tank, or the only option to deal with 900% stronger Executor XD. So in this case, as for other party members, I use 88% free skill use Hermit with 3 stolen utility skills, a very srtong Hermit Tank to endure normall bosses during mentioned Executor fight who also has stolen Cleric's buffs, and 4th party member is a damage dealer, I recommend Retribution user, 2 hand weapon, full Dilaera.

.. some alternate builds for fast farm..

full retaliation+strength tanky Inquistor-like Enforcer or Cleric or Nemesis with items "gains 0.65 Action per being hit" -- Shards of Dilaera but he had a very nice HP regen too. -- for solo farm everything, even bosses on 300% difficulties

Nemesis using AoE Litany of Pain or Hail of Arrows+Accuracy buff; while having 100% critical hit from Eagel's Eye and being Aointed.
Well Nemesis is able to have incredible critical hit chance even without Eagle's Eye. Point Blank for ranged weapon and a bit less but way better damage with 2-hand weapons.

2 Blademasters using Cleave: one front row; another backrow using Polearm, 2-hand weapon that allows to hit backrow.
Immo May 10, 2018 @ 1:24am
hmm I'll spam some more about Scout.. the idea of him is that Evasion items grant a lot of Action, so he's easily the fastest party member, it's as if he had around 300 quickness, when 6 enemies attack him...
then, not-socketed gear and low-damage bow makes it rather pointless to use him as damage output
in this case, he can cast lots of spells, and can't really hurt enemies.
The problem with buffer/debuffer is that buffs are usually not so good compared to another damage dealing unit or a tank...
but if he can cast 5 per one damage-dealer-hit... then it is really useful...

above I posted a screen of skill bar - my scout uses every single of them (well I forgot to replace Snare which doesn't work) -- 5-round-cooldown skills are very powerful and he can cast them really frequently compared to other team members.

Healing and Resurection is someone else's job (I use Hermit or Cleric) but there are some nice other buffs/debuffs, however casted in small amouts I agree that MD buffs/debuffs are rather weak compared to damage-dealers etc.

I guess it's hard to find better pure damage option, but there may be synergies outweighing number of sockets. I have all those weapons, except Stonethrone's Reach. Maybe if I could get socketed Devastator... but now I already have 345% CHD, so practically cap is reached, and bow's base damage is lower. Time's Arrow looks nice, but +5 quickness for whole party (as relic) is superior option I guess. I loved Mosswood + Moonglow set combo in Chronicles, it's probably still great for rangers here. I consider Devouring Crossbow as interesting option for survivability, can give it a try (I have socketed one).
In case of Nemesis, I don't need any accuracy (godly passive from retribution tree) and CHC is also negligible (Eagle Eye before Hail of Arrows or Fervant Strike, unless targets are low HP).
