Favorite Items

So seeing as the discussions have been a bit dead lately I figured I'd try to liven them up a bit.

What are some of your favorite items and why do you like them? Maybe it's because of a cool effect. Perhaps you like the story behind the item. Maybe the item just looks cool and that's why you like it. Either way tell us about it. It's nice to experiment with some of the more interesting items that tend to get overshadowed by artifacts and what not.

Some of my favorites are:

The Scythe of Cessation, largely because of it's unique aesthetic. It's a solid polearm that gives your guys a little bit of health and power steal as well as disintigrating enemies when theyre killed with it. That and it makes the user look a lot more badass than just a standard spear.

The Juggernauts Pauldrons, which is one of the more interesting non artifact armor pieces. Let's you pretend to be an orc without needing to use, or even in addition to, Caldar's Crested Shield.

The Brackenwood Helm mainly because I like the aesthetic. It makes your guy look kinda creepy and demonic.

And lastly the Liturgy on the Covenant of Blood because of the thematic element. It feels like an item that shouldn't exist because of the clashing thematic elements between the item and the user which makes it very interesting.

There are 3 items that i really love and i've used them a lot back when i played Monster's den: Chronicles

Bloody murder
Rubicite Breastplate
Stalwart Protector

These 3 are the priority for spark of legend! With those 3 items i never need to heal because if i survive getting attack i heal up all the damage i took. Very useful for a Tank warrior build and a cleric is necessary because they are the only one that can remove curses that cances health regen.

Rubiccate brestplate is an interesting armor, yeah, good regen, but the game does not have enough depth, if it has any :/ to make that item interesting in any setup
Stalwart protector is actually better than the artifact :)

There is another weapon, Reaper's Edge, which uses the same model (and I think looks cooler but has relatively worse enchantments). They both have a magical baby brother in the Blightreaper scepter (which is more like the Scythe).

Also, if you are looking for a really unique look there is Imperator's Warblade.

Considering who the Clerics worship I don't think the themes clash. Also, while I prefer to use that censer I think the flavor text on "Liturgy on the Forgiveness of Frailties" is much better.

Bloody Murder is a one-handed axe which has +Strength, Health Steal and always causes a Bleed DoT when it hits. It's a great item. (There is a dagger with similar enchantments called Bllodletter.)

For me it’s The Best Defense, The Headman’s Standby, and The Black Flag of Dilaeara.
8% cr 200% cd and alot of extra damage from the dagger. This works good with that one epic armor that offers 8% cr.
