Downloading content causes it to be jerky and unwatchable. Solutions?

So, most of the streamed contect (with the exception of the wizard and podracing one) seemed to be running fairly well via stream but since my internet connection is not the fastest in the world I decided to download some of them which has made them unwatchable. The images are very jerky and often pull the audio out of sinc. I can't even un-download them that I can see to put them back to streaming. Anyone else have this problem? How did you fix it if you did?
