See this is a fair post, i wish everyone could have your attitude rather than just say VR is crap, dead on arrival, a gimmick etc just because they don't own it.

The game could potentially have two versions of movement, VR and mouse-based. I mean, look at Surgeon Simulator! That said, the VR controls would be much more comfortable and much more immersive. I'm getting my Vive today, so I'm not really in the same boat as you guys, but this game was one of the games I got a Vive for.

There are already several Rick & Morty games for regular PCs, check out Adult Swim's page, several Android games (Pocket Mortys, Jerrys Game), a card game and even a frigging DRINKING GAME

So, about time they made a VR game as well...

I think in most cases, you'd be better off just finding a youtube playthrough you like and watching that instead of getting a gimped mouse-and-keyboard version of the game that takes away most of the features that make it worth playing to begin with.

I am not arguing with anyone?
But you mentioned you wanted to play Rick and Morty, so I told you about some non-VR alternatives.

I assure you I already know about the alternatives. This isn't my first rodeo.

Then I don't understand your original post. What are you asking for?

Non VR version, so same game just without VR. I wish this was one game with an OPTION to be VR.

If they released a non VR version people would be moaning about its simplicity, the whole game design is based around the physical interactivity of objects. Utterly pointless playing without VR.

Not to me

This is essentially an extension of Job Simulator but Rick & Morty flavoured, it is a separate game but this is also the reason why a non-VR version makes no sense. It was developed for VR, the mechanics wouldn't make sense without it...even if you look at Accounting it was great in VR but would be lame with a mouse.

It would be like saying, 'Hey that is an awesome rick n morty painted speedboat you have there, I don't really like to spend time or money on the ocean but I need something to drive to work, can you please put some wheels on it and make it road legal so I can have me a Rick n Morty car?"
