The Ascension System

Izumi-sama wants to speak to heroes who have ascended....
This system is intended to be challenging and require some thought and creativity to progress!

Unlockable Classes and Races

Several new playable classes and races are now unlockable based on pre-existing mid and late game quests
The Samurai and Shroomancer classes have been added
The Octokin, Stagborn and Tortoisefolk classes have been added
This brings 106 new class/race combinations to the game, bringing the total up to 568!

New Endgame Questline

Bug Fixes

Fixed an issue with the Trophy Derby (and Trophy Dream) where only trophy fish caught for the first time were being counted. They now count all Trophy fish caught.

Gods of Angling

Add cooking templates/auto cooking.

Having to click 6 times, multiple times a day, to set up the same cooking templates is annoying and a shockingly high amount of clicks for an otherwise relatively idle game. Have some sort of ruleset that auto applies/auto cooks. Queue up cooking all fish above > x level. IF have ingriedient XYZ, add it. If have ingriedient ZYX, add it. OR just let me one click set that up per fish spot like a template system. I'm lazy....

Congratulations to the Inaugural Angler of the Week!

Congratulations to the top angler, Kanarena, for winning the first Angler of the Week tournament! Kanarena had strong finishes across the full Heptathlon of Special Derbies for the Week of July 13-19 for a total of 566 Points.

Week 2 has already begun! The quest for lunkers is endless.

Ok NOW I won the global derby lol.

Finally won the global derby haha, monday 7-06. LB 169,463 563 fish. Guess it was a day where nobody caught crazy elder leviathans or something haha!! Love the bonus neck/medal with 10 to all stats.

A couple of suggestions

So, it came to my attention when I decided I wanted to build a luck character, that there...really isn't a true luck class. Sure, there's harpoonist, far as classes that at least /boost/ luck goes, but it really seems to be more 'str class seeking exceptional crit rates', than actually being luck-focused. I'd like to see a gambler-type class that actually focuses on the stat. Give me skills that have additional effects on criticals, or roll for additional effects with the odds based on the luck stat, or bo...
