Simple little question. How do you put bait on the hook?

I put bait on all 3 of my hooks. I have no clue how to switch a bait to a bare hook. Probably so simple it's funny. But i'm actually stuck here.Please answer so I can continue fishing.

If I understand your question correctly, you want to fish with no bait? If that's the case, click the X on the top right corner of the inventory page where you see the equipment. It'll be below the rod and where the hook is. The bait should disappear and leave you with a bare hook.

Keep in mind, you'll need to have an actual hook equipped. If you see a hook to the top and right, next to the spool or line, you should be good.

If you mean you want to bait the hook, then go to the bait options on the far left. Click the bait you want. Once you've done that, click the 'equip' option below the rod displayed on your inventory panel. Once you see bait in the once empty panel, the bait is now equipped on the hook. It's not the hook to the far right, but the one below the rod.
