Setting the hook?

Ok I have had like 15 fish grab the bait. But how in the heck do I set the hook?

you have to wait if float fishing for the fish to bite for example look at the float once it goes under water your fine to prees right mouse button to hook the fish

yea let the fish sit there and play with it for a while. once the bobber dunks, or once you see the line yank in underwaterview, then set hook. i had this issue premature strike for the first 2 hours of gameplay til someone pointed this out to me. now im rankin up and this game is a blast.

few buggs with the fish if get eny but its being worked on

i just put in like 4.5 hrs straight and had to force myself to stop. this game is headed in the right direction and will end up being the best fishing game ever. they can expand on this like mad. and did they mention mods? can modders eventually make huge lakes etc? imagine if we can all do tournaments and see each other online.....soup up our boats, our gear and outfits etc.... compete to be the best lol

Only if they fix the current broken core mechanics. That will keep holding the game back until properly fixed

Yep, as marshall just said the current challenge is fixing and stabilizing the core. After that they can start working on all the fun stuff :D
