Best fish to grind?
I am Level 15 now and try to get all kind of fish, but can‘t catch Marlin because they swim to far and I need better gear. Now it seem to start the only negative thing in this game: grinding.

Which is the best way / the best fish for it?

This is my very first fishing game and I love it.

I've caught all types of Marlin with level 14 gear so it is possible. The biggest being 325lb so far. There are much bigger Marlin out there of course but these actually do require bigger and better gear to catch. The secret to not letting them pull out too far is technique. I use an Xbox controller personally as I love to feel the pulling vibration. When I hook a Marlin I set the appropriate drag and speed and then tap the reel in trigger repeatedly. I only have about 800 yards to use with my 56lb line so using this technique is vital, far better than just waiting for the Marlin to drag the line out past its limit.
Now go get your first Marlin, 'deadcantdance'.

Baikal sturgeon and rainbow trour are easy money
Mirror Carp and Baikal Sturgeon. Huchen and Rainbow Runner are also good too.

Will check this out. I catched one once, but the next 5 snapped my line.

Happy new year!
