Xp over Money?

The tiny bit of XP the game gives us the choice of having, instead of the money, just doesnt seem like its enough for it to be the smart choice. Don't know if anyone else has complained about this but why would i sacrifice almost 800 dollars for roughly 150 xp especially when money is kind of a grind.

theres no grind and exp means nothing other than bragging rights you can play online longer than the next dude. The extra is a bonus. it's not either take the cash or take the exp and lose the other. You get paid both for the fish. the bonus is simply that you either want more cash or more exp same way FP did the release or keep bonus. you still got what the fish was worth in both money and exp. Easy way to explain it. every fish carries 2 values 1x cash and 1x exp. The devs added an extra bonus to help you to either level faster of to have more spending power. You choose which. There isn't a loss it sounds like you want your cake and eat it.

Money is no grind at all in this game bud. It's easy to get a good balance in not very long time. This game has the easiest economy system of all the current fishing games by far.

you obviously havent played this game recently because thats not at all how this game works. You get flat xp and then choose money or more xp. Literally went into the game caught a fish and released it and my money did not go up. and exp means i can get better gear which means i can catch fish easier and bigger ones at that. thanks for the input though.

I can agree when you get to a certain threshold money is not hard to come by. But leveling is repetitive and tedious which i understand they dont want this game to be just grind out to max level and unlock everything but personally i think the xp is way under the money value.
