The best way to describe stop and go is dragging your foot behind you. You reel in for 4 seconds using a high reel speed, drag the lure 1 meter like you're dragging your foot, wait for 4 seconds or watch for the ground message to come up in the bottom right of the screen. Imagine you're moving forward and leaving your foot behind to begin dragging it again and repeat. Make sure the lure is on the ground and be aware that lure methods don't begin the moment you do it.
I think the main problem players have is the difficulty understanding that the ground isn't flat with methods like stop and go as it works mainly with the ground, but if the the ground sinks then stop and go fails.
Lift and drop is basically the same as twitching but you need to reel in also at the lowest reel speed continiously whilst lifting and droping your rod with the right mouse button.
I will do a brief video showing the methods.
i think you hit my problem. in other games stop and go is just.. reel. stop reel. repeat. the ground had nothing to do with it. i notcied id get stop and go sometimes on here, but then it would go away and im scratching my head. i didnt take into account the ground at all really. sounds kind of a pain in the starter lake with all those dips it has. lift might be better i dont know yet. are there any others? jig step, etc.
That is amazing. Thanks a lot. Would you mind, if I added that to my small guide - which is basically just an addendum to the encyclopedia in UFS? I will list you as contributor.
