Controller info !!!!!
For people using a acontroller it would be nice if you added the controls tutorial at the start for the buttons on the gamepad, it only gives you the keyboard and mouse prompts, thats pretty lame and leaves you pis%ing in the wind.

You have controller help/map in the game :)

I see but im saying it would be helpful if the game recognised you are using a controller at the start to bring the screen prompts up in the right controls rather than keep displaying the keyboard functions, thats what every other game does.

good point that would have saved me alot of self discovery in the early game. also would be nice to be able to set buttons on the controller to what I want them to do. Would love to disable the B button as i bump it sometimes and lose fish.

I know right, its not about having to look it up, it should show you the right buttons so you get the feel for it right away, having to discover what does what by looking it up is confusing.

Thanks for your suggestions. I will talk about it with Hubert.

:D trust me everyone with a controller will appreciate it.

I started playing the game with the controller and the tutorial giving KB&M information was a huge turn off. Having the KB&M mappings in the lower left corner the entire time was just insult to injury. :steamfacepalm:

Trust me, it's not fun learning a game when you have to open and close the options menu a few dozen times to see what you should be pressing. Most games detect the controller and change the UI to controller button prompts.

:D exactly my point, ive learnt the controls now and love the game but i had to guess about the drag and stuff, the first few times the fish took all the line and got away and i had no idea why?, now i do though but it could of been much simpler if the controls were clear in the first place.

I decided that learning the game with no UI assistance wasn't worth the effort for me.

I sucessfully refunded UFS.

hoping to see controller hud on screen one day, i missed out with the net because it said to press 'E' and I had no idea what the controller option for that was

+1 for having controller HUD.
I just got this game and I'm really enjoying it. The graphics are beautiful and the gameplay is solid. The only real issue I have is the lack of controller tutorials / prompts / HUD. It leaves a lot of guesswork.

Hi,
this (just) probably will happen with porting the game to PS4/XO.

Great to hear! Thankyou, your game is amazing

Took me a while to figure stuff out and i got there in the end, but if you have controller support from the word GO you should in this day and age have controller prompts to go with it, but absolutely awesome that its now being added at some point, will make the game easier and less confusing for the people that buy it after. :lunar2019grinningpig:

Yeah this is definitely frustrating and the wording is different too. On keyboard it's "precise casting" but on controller it's "cast near" so not only do you have to pause every time you want to figure out how to do something, you have to translate it from what it says to what it means.
